I've spent two decades helping teams build software that stays sane at scale.
I'm Jon Nelson, a Staff Engineer and Technical Lead with deep experience in TypeScript full-stack — React, Node, AWS, Stripe, and everything between.
Before founding Symbiotic Labs, I built and secured complex fintech systems (escrow, arbitration, ACH payments), FAA integrations, GIS heavy user interfaces, and more. I've also served as a U.S. Army Warrant Officer (255A) where I held a CISSP certification among others, and hold a Top Secret Security Clearance — which means I think in terms of discipline, reliability, and clarity.
